Analysis, Design and Development of an Information System for the Calculation and Management of a Company’s Cash Flow

Abstract


This contribution deals with the analysis, design and development of an information system for the calculation and management of a company’s cash flow. The information and the follow-up of evolution at an enterprise's financier funds, is very important for the enterprise's analysts and managers and plays an important role to the day to day decision making for the smooth operation of the enterprise.
This effort is supported by modern methods and tools for Software implementation, using UML and the Iconix method at the design phase of the system, object oriented environment and 4th generation programming languages at the development phase and modern reporting tools for the presentation of the results. We follow all the phases of a formal project of information technology, starting from the analysis, specifications and continue with the design, the development, the testing, the VAT and finally the maintenance.
